Friday's Brain Droppings. . /

Well, it's Friday. Not that that really means much to me today since I'll be working a 8:30-2:30 shift tomorrow to pick up some overtime. But still, symbolically, I guess it's a close to the week. Just kind of a standard day at work here. Trying to survive.

My alarm went off at 6:25 today, but I managed to oversleep until 6:55,which mean i had to get up and scramble out the door without a shower, so I feel positively gross today (don't worry, I smell fine thanks to deodorant and cologne.) But I can't wait to get home and take a shower and shave. . .

10 Years ago was the whole beginning of the OJ Simpson fiasco. Now this weekend he's going to be on all the news shows doing interviews. It makes me sick. What makes me laugh, though, is that he's planning on doing a "Punk'd" type show. I'm not kidding. I just have to wonder what the premise will be. . .is OJ going to jump out of the bushes and stab people and then point at them and say "You've just been juiced?"

Thankfully, this weekend looks like it's going to shape up to be affordable. Tonight I'm gonna hang out at Erin's house because she's dog-sitting. Tomorrow I work all day and then go to her church at night. Sunday is church and I'm just going to come home and cook some potroast for myself. So not much cash to be spent this weekend. . .

Need to dedicate some time this weekend to the job search. I'm making progress, but I do want to get my resume polished and do some more searching. I also should probably do my Econ homework, but I'm really putting that off. . .

The weather is beautiful today, though. Sunny and 70s. It doesn't get better than this. I gotta spend some time outside. . .
